Hamilton City Council seeks proposals from suitably qualified and experienced main engineering construction companies for their Collaborative Corridor Agreement - Road Operations and Maintenance.
The network consists of: 703km of sealed roads from kerb to berm with speed limits of 80km per hour or less, 1.1km of unsealed roads and 54 bridges and large culverts. Additional assets include 1,079km of footpaths for use by pedestrians and low speed vehicles such as mobility scooters within Hamilton City and 105km of on road cycle lanes.
The initial tenure will be 5 years with two contract extensions, of 3 years and 2 years each, provided for.
The works will be carried out under a new Collaborative Corridor Agreement, which is an alliance style of contract, with an associated performance framework, and a target cost and open book approach to commercial management.
Your attention is drawn to the requirement within the Request for Proposals document (RFP reference 1.6.1) to register your assigned point of contact to receive communications during the proposal period.
Hamilton City Council reserves the right to withdraw from the procurement process at any time without notice before entering into the Contract. If the Council withdraws from the procurement process, then no respondent shall have any claim for compensation or otherwise against the Council.
