Overview

The Principal (Hurunui District Council) is looking for a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake the construction of replacement pipelines from the township of Hawarden towards Waikari - Construction and installation of a new watermain
from the recently completed town watermain replacement pipeline in Hawarden heading south towards the township of Waikari.
The installation of a new DN180 and DN63 submains and connections to existing properties along the route, the proposed pipeline will consist of approximately 6185 metres of DN180 PN12.5, and approximately 1192m of DN63 PN12.5,
with 592 metres of the DN63 PN12.5 in a shared common trench. The Hurunui District Council will supply the required DN180 PE100 PN12.5 pipe, allowing the contractor to liaise with the pipe supplier for the timing of the pipe deliveries.
The Contractor is to supply and install the DN63 PE100 PN12.5 pipe, all bridge hangers, sleeve pipes, all Valves, Hydrants, dress sets, fittings, connections and to perform all required pipe testing and pipe welding including any required
welding test certificates. The Contractor will be responsible for all health, safety, and environmental aspects of the project.
