Overview

We have a total property portfolio of circa 73,000 homes, with a mix of single-story dwellings, three-storey walk ups, multi-storey apartment complexes and large-scale developments. These are located across New Zealand, from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
We require property and rental property valuation services, using a combination of onsite internal inspection, kerbside and desktop valuations. We are looking to consolidate our supplier base to make the valuation work easier to manage and more cost efficient for both us and our property valuation suppliers. Accordingly, we are looking for one or more nationwide suppliers and will consider both nationwide and regional valuation suppliers in the following areas:

• Annual Asset (Property) valuation process
• Properties Under Development – large scale properties
• Annual Rent Assessment (Community Group Housing)
• Quarterly Rent Assessment
• Insurance for buildings valued at $5 million or greater – replacement cost
• Property Divestments
• Property Acquisition

We currently procure these valuation services from a broad range of valuers across the country. In the future we are looking for one to three suppliers that can deliver against one or more of the nationwide supply only categories. That makes managing these categories much easier for both us and the supplier(s) selected.
For the Divestment and Acquisition category, we are open to region supply based on the valuers demonstrating local market knowledge to support our valuation needs.
