Kainga Ora is known for its building and management of public housing, and is the largest landlord in New Zealand. As the organisation's name indicates, the organisation's scope has expanded from just delivery of homes to the building of communities. Hence Kainga Ora is exploring options for a 'digital community platform' designed to give its customers (e.g. tenants) a sense of community identity, the ability to connect with neighbours, service providers, facilities and develop personal wellbeing. This is initially focused on a new key development at 139 Greys Ave, but could eventually roll out wider.
The concept of a digital platform is a different way of exploring how Kainga Ora could enable thriving communities when delivering public housing.
This information request is seeking to understand the supply community and capabilities that could provision a digital platform to support the goals, objectives and aspirations we have for a 139 Greys Ave digital community.
