Overview

Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities (Kāinga Ora) is a Crown agency that provides rental housing for New Zealanders in need. Kāinga Ora wishes to procure a service provider to undertake, in collaboration with Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira Incorporated (Ngāti Toa), the operational service delivery of a skills and employment initiative in eastern Porirua (the Initiative). The Initiative is supported at a central and local government level by the following agencies: Kāinga Ora, Porirua City Council, Ministry of Social Development and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

The purpose of the RFP is to invite suitably qualified service providers to submit proposals to Kāinga Ora with information on their skills and experience in supporting the eastern Porirua community in the provision of skills and employment development services within the wider Porirua area.

The preferred tenderer will be required to formally partner with Ngāti Toa for the delivery of the operational services of the Initiative.
