These canals form part of the Western Plains District Drainage (WPDD) network within the Hauraki District. The scope of works includes: Reconstruction of a 2700m length of the Canal West Road stopbank; The contract works include: Earthworks, Loading and carting material, Temporary works, Site reinstatement, Quality assurance and materials testing, Environmental management, Traffic management (at site access).
