The site offers significant potential for the creation of a destination mountain biking and outdoor recreation facility that could attract local, regional, and national visitors.<br>The site has been earmarked to undergo significant remediation as metal extraction and forestry activities have been exhausted. Remediation of the site is expected to be undertaken over the next 24 months during which, the site will be rezoned as recreational reserve land under reserves Act.
