GDC is currently progressing the rebuild of the St Ledger Bridge at Donneraille Park on Ruakaka Road. Since the bridge was lost during Cyclone Gabrielle, traffic demand has significantly increased on the remaining section of Ruakaka Road between Donneraille Park and Tiniroto. This demand has been further compounded by additional heavy construction traffic associated with the bridge rebuild, placing greater strain on the road network.

This tender covers the immediate maintenance needs on Ruakaka Road.

GDC anticipates that the heightened maintenance demand will continue through to the fourth quarter of 2026.

This tender has been awarded. Total spend value $ 413,454.
