It was recognised through Gisborne District Council's (GDC) strategy development that a number of projects were required to meet our strategic objectives. This started the transformation journey and initially three major projects were identified:
the replacement of Ozone, the current ERP system of nearly 20 years with 36 modules currently in use.
the replacement of Objective ECM, the current EDRMS of 8 years, holding 1,966,000+ records of up to 99 versions.
the digitisation of our 90,000 paper property files.
GDC are now two years down the track from this initial thinking. Since then, they have embarked on a project to digitise the paper records, investigated options for ECM’s and ERP’s, gathered requirements, and created the project “Enterprise Solution”.
The Enterprise Solution project will deliver large scale transformational change by providing a fit for purpose modernised cloud-based enterprise system that will, put simply, support and improve the way GDC works.
Gisborne District Council (GDC) are looking to procure:
an Enterprise Solution
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Please note:
the provider must be able to supply both requirements. This can be done through partnerships, but GDC only want to contract with one lead supplier
the proposed solution is already working, proven and not in development for the requirements
the solution must meet the Cloud requirements set out Section 2
