Overview

Overview
The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) is seeking to implement an e-discovery solution to enhance our ability to manage, search and share documents to support investigation and litigation.

We expect the system to support our needs from “Identification” through to “Production” as shown in the EDRM model below. The chosen solution needs to maximise our use of evidence through better discovery and search and drive more effective litigation. It also needs to significantly lift our ability to manage evidence through an integrated process with appropriate security controls.

To successfully provide the benefits we are seeking, the solution must integrate with existing systems, including directory integration for authentication, network drives and OpenText Content Server for content sourcing, and our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.

What we don’t want
We don’t want an untried solution or one that will require significant modification to meet our specified requirements. Nor do we want a Respondent that is not resourced to provide FMA with effective support during a 2018 implementation and post go-Live.

What’s important to us
We are looking for credible providers with proven capability, experience and resource to deliver a practical solution that is cost-effective (from a total life-cycle cost perspective) and can be implemented quickly and with minimum technical risk. The vendor must be able to provide on-site support either directly or through partners.

It is important that the system is user friendly, intuitive to use and easily navigable, secure, reliable. It is also important that the successful Respondent can effectively work with us to both to provide effective support post go-live and assist with meeting any future training requirements.
