Overview
To construct a gravel avalanche deflection bund on Kitchener Fan in Aoraki Mt Cook National Park.
1. Excavate, cart, place and compact approx.45 000 bank cubic metres of sandy gravel
2. Strip footprint and stockpile topsoil - approx. 1 ha ( approx. 3 500 bank cubic metres )
3. Rehabilitate area of disturbance including the surface of the avalanche bund (approx.1 ha.)
