This contract is for the permanent repair of the Elsthorpe Road Slope Stabilisation and related drainage improvement works. The site is located at RP 14.9.

We invite tenders from our prequalified contractors, with evaluation following the outlined methodology. This option strikes a balance between speed and cost-effectiveness. By engaging prequalified contractors with a proven track record, we ensure value for money, timely procurement, and strong familiarity with the scope of work, reducing overall project risk.
The Price-Quality method is preferred because it ensures a balance between cost and the quality of work, leading to better long-term outcomes.

The scope of the work is fully described in the Principal’s Project Requirements and includes but is not limited to the key items of work as listed below and in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT):
The contract is for the permanent repair works and will consist of the following key construction elements:
Upslope surface drains.
Deep subsoil/counterfort drains.
Earthworks.
Drainage works.
Pavement reinstatement and surfacing.
