This Request for Quotes (RFQ) invites suppliers to quote for the delivery track maintenance (kauri) at Taheke Scenic Reserve, under the terms of the Combined Regional Track Panel- Master Services Agreement.

We require sections of Taheke Track to be resurfaced with “Track Mix”, this must be Gap 20 with 5-10% clay fines, Track Mix must be supplied from a quarry with current doc certification for biosecurity requirements. We also 13 metres of fence constructed as outlined in the attached Scope of Works, with detailed drawing and specifications.

The Department requires the following:

• construction hygiene controls for Kauri Tracks to be implemented
• the contractor to be present for the pre work and post work blessing.
• proof the contractor has current public liability insurance for an amount no less than $2,000,000
• proof the contractor’s personnel have the necessary training and qualifications for any equipment to be used
• site specific safety plan to be supplied before the commencement of work
