Overview

Enable New Zealand is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suppliers to join the Assistive Product Community Rehabilitation Equipment (APCRE) Supplier Panel. This panel will support the delivery of high quality assistive technology solutions for disabled people and those recovering from injuries, across major national contracts with MSD, ACC and Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora.

This ROI is the first step in establishing a refreshed panel of trusted, compliant, and clinically suitable suppliers who can provide community rehabilitation equipment, associated parts, and support services. The panel will cover a wide range of APCRE categories, including but not limited to mobility equipment, seating and positioning systems, daily living aids, and commonly required accessories. Suppliers will be expected to ensure continuity of supply, support repair and refurbishment needs, and operate to required NZ/AU standards and regulatory obligations.

Enable New Zealand is implementing a strengthened, category led procurement approach focused on transparency, cost efficiency, clinical suitability, and broader outcomes. Suppliers will be required to demonstrate their ability to deliver economic benefit to New Zealand, including sustainable practices, circular economy initiatives, and support for inclusive employment or Māori and Pasifika businesses.

Shortlisted respondents from this ROI will be invited to the closed RFP stage. Inclusion on the panel does not guarantee product acceptance onto funded equipment lists; separate sourcing processes will continue for individual product categories to ensure fairness, defensibility, and clinical alignment.

This is an opportunity to partner with one of Aotearoa’s leading assistive technology providers to deliver meaningful outcomes for New Zealanders and help shape a sustainable and clinically led equipment procurement model.
