Enable New Zealand invites shortlisted suppliers from the Registration of Interest (ROI) process to respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP) to join the Assistive Product Community Rehabilitation Equipment (APCRE) Supplier Panel.

The purpose of this RFP is to assess supplier capability and readiness to operate within a nationally critical, clinically led, and highly accountable assistive technology environment. Appointment to the Panel establishes eligibility to participate in future secondary procurement processes only and does not, of itself, guarantee any volume, pricing, or obligation to supply.

The APCRE Panel will support the delivery of clinically suitable community rehabilitation equipment and associated support services for disabled people and those recovering from injury across Aotearoa New Zealand, under Enable New Zealand’s contracts with DSS-MSD, ACC, and Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora.

Enable New Zealand is implementing a strengthened, category-led procurement approach that is clinically-led and evidence based, and focused on transparency, continuity of supply, value for money, sustainability, and broader public value outcomes.

Suppliers are expected to demonstrate strong clinical governance, operational capability, compliance with relevant standards, and the ability to operate within a highly regulated public value environment.
