Overview

This RFQ is for the project management of aerial distribution of non-toxic and toxic bait across a defined treatment area within the Cobb Area for the control of pests in the form of rodents, mustelids and possums and includes: Managing all parts of a successful operation from obtaining consents and permissions, consultation, planning and organising of logistics, provision of suitable aircraft, personnel, equipment and collection of GIS data necessary to the successful delivery of the Services.
Implementation of robust Health and Safety practices will ensure the safe delivery of the Services.

Additional documents are included with this RFQ. Please refer to the Kahurangi notes in attachments.

The preferred transport operator for this operation is Heagney Transport, based in Blenheim. They have extensive experience driving on the difficult section of road to the Load Site. This is our most high-risk road to travel along with large vehicles.

It is expected that part of this operation will use deer repellent.
