Overview

This RFQ is for the project management of aerial distribution of non-toxic and toxic bait across a defined treatment area within the Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki Area for the control of pests in the form of rodents, mustelids and possums and includes: Managing all parts of a successful operation from obtaining consents and permissions, consultation, planning and organising of logistics, provision of suitable aircraft, personnel, equipment and collection of GIS data necessary to the successful delivery of the Services.
Implementation of robust Health and Safety practices will ensure the safe delivery of the Services.

In this RFQ, DOC will be seeking a contractor who can deliver this operation in a single day. The successful applicant must have adequate resources to operate multiple loading zones simultaneously, with the ability to relocate should the weather disrupt.
All helicopter resources must be available when a weather window is presented. If a company does not have all the resources, DOC expect the project management company to be able to replace them with other suitable helicopters, pilots and resources to carry out the operation safely and within the timeframes set in the SOW. The ability to carry out this operation within the required criteria will reflect on performance scores going forward.
