The Department of Conservation (DOC) is commissioning a research agency to measure the public’s trust and confidence in the Department. This is a critical tool to measure trust and confidence levels and to track metrics and deliverables for key programmes, including the Mobilise for Nature (MFN) initiative.

The project includes the annual design, execution, analysis and reporting of results (with actionable insights) for national quantitative and bi-annual regional qualitative (face-to-face workshops).
o 2026: National quantitative research only.
o 2027: National quantitative research and four regions selected by DOC to undertake qualitative research.
o 2028: National quantitative research only.
