Overview

This RFT relates to the design and installation of power systems for both Kapiti Island and Matiu/Somes Island located in the Wellington Region.
The Contract Works include the following elements:
• Interpret the Department of Conservation’s requirements and parameters to generate an appropriate design solution.
• Carry out all construction activities to deliver the design.
• Ensure the safety of workers and all other persons within the site.
• Carry out photovoltaic panel installation.
• Carry out micro hydro system construction.
• Carry out battery installation, including minor timber construction battery room.
• Supply and instal diesel generator and fuel storage system
• Carry out all supporting electrical infrastructure installation.
• Manage the biosecurity risk appropriately.
• Undertake all procurement activities required to supply specified components.
• Decommissioning and removal of existing power system infrastructure as required.
• Compliance to Technical Specifications document
