Overview

This procurement relates to an upgrade of the existing DOC fieldbase building at Pipiriki.
• The Main Contractor shall co-ordinate the work to ensure that requirements of the drawings and specifications are met including construction document version control management with trades.
• Coordination, manage the work of and co-operate with any Separate Contractors (if any) engaged by the Department.
• Procurement of materials as per programme.
• Design and management of any temporary works associated with the project.
• Coordinate with the project manager, design team and local authority to conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate working with installation of client supplied free issue items.
• Adhere to any Building Consent condition that is directly related to the Main Contractors works.
• Undertake Main Contract works within the agreed scope, price, timeframes and to agreed quality standards.
• Cleaning of the works just prior to the handover of the works.
• Make good to all damage caused in carrying out the contract works to the satisfaction of the Principal.
• Main Contract has full responsibility of rectifying all defects detected following practical completion within the required respective timeframes.
