We want a collaborative and motivated contractor who has a demonstrated track record of building quality, sustainable ‘shared-use’ trail(s) at Grade 2 (cycling) standard in native forest settings with minimal environmental impact. This contract is for the construction of approximately 850m of new Grade 2 off road shared use path/trail (ORSP) in Punakaiki on the South Island’s West Coast. The ORSP will have a nominal finished width of 2.2m, be a two-way trail, and be constructed in accordance with the New Zealand Cycle Trail Design Guidelines (6th Edition). It will involve track, culvert, rigid pedestrian/cycle bridge, and fall barrier construction.
