The Department of Conservation (DOC) is seeking proposals to find one supplier with demonstrated capabilities and capacity to source, manufacture, brand and supply wildland firefighting PPE to DOC wildland fire team in an efficient, standardised and timely process for delivery of compliant and fit for purpose products.

The key criteria of this procurement includes:
- Firefighting products must meet relevant AS/NZS or ISO/EN standards for wildland fire
- Operational capacity and presence in NZ
- Capacity to deliver across all DOC locations nationally

DOC encourages proposals that demonstrate initiatives that contributes towards sustainability and conservation.
