We are seeking an expert partner at a national level to develop and resource a system for the inclusion and support of mātauranga into the PF2050 Programme so that it may be grown and implemented at place by tangata whenua, and nationally by Iwi, hapū, and in Māori communities and projects across the motu.
The objectives of this project are to:
• Restore mātauranga Māori systems, processes, and solutions
• Ensure Māori are able to lead and govern mātauranga within Predator Free 2050
• Develop, support, and enhance mātauranga Māori for Predator Free 2050
• Grow mātauranga of Te Reo Māori within Predator Free 2050
• Increase Māori led communication of Māori involvement in Predator Free 2050
• Access, use and protect mātauranga data appropriately within Predator Free 2050.
