From May 2019, DOC will accept applications for the Tools to Market 2019 procurement round. The purpose of this fund is to invest in new tools that will advance predation eradication, monitoring, data management and scale up predator suppression at a landscape level across all contexts and habitats. Investment in existing tools will expand their current application into new contexts and habitats or otherwise substantially lift their contribution for the achievement of Predator Free 2050 goals.
Complementarity with Predator Free 2050 Ltd – Products to Projects Fund
Expressions of Interest are currently open for the Predator Free 2050 Ltd Products to Projects Fund. While similar to the DOC Tools to Market fund, Products to Projects is intended as a significant one-off injection aimed at accelerating the delivery of projects to Predator Free 2050 projects. The Tools To Market is aimed at mid-term projects and this fund receives an annual allotment which will allow for investment in projects which may have a life span of 1 – 5 years. Communication between fund managers will ensure that investments are complimentary. Applicants can apply for both funds.
