The Dunedin City Council 9-year plan 2025/34 has funding allocated for transport improvements to respond to growth. Wakari Road is one area where there are multiple greenfield developments enabled in the district plan. Some of these are in the process of being developed or are in the consenting process. In response to growth along Wakari Road, DCC intends to build a new shared path from 205 Wakari Rd to the redwood recreational area. The objective of this SoW is for DCC to be in a position to confirm a concept for a shared path on Wakari Road. The concept needs to include an understanding of cost, risks and opportunities, ready to be handed to the DCC transport delivery team for design and build.

This is an invited competitive process under the DCC Long Term Technical, Engineering and Specialist Support LTES Panel. This procurement process is using a Weighted Attributes Method.
