Dunedin City Council is looking to invest in new technology to collect transportation data that will provide better information about how people travel around the city. We are interested in sensor or camera-based technology that accurately counts all transport modes.

The opportunity is for suppliers to provide a technology solution, with physical components and monitoring capabilities including an easy-to-use dashboard, with a contract term up to 4 years and 8 months, including extension options.

The technology will be used to provide input to transport projects across the city and provide data for annual reporting requirements. This technology will eventually replace or complement existing cordon and screen line counts.
