Advance Notice of an opportunity.

The Central City Bike Hubs project aims to provide adequate facilities that support and promote active transport as a viable travel option for commuters and visitors to Dunedin's central city.

We want to partner with a supplier who can deliver a design and build package for Bike Hubs. Concept designs have been created and these will help tender respondents identify the key design themes that are important to us. These being:
• Use of natural materials
• Sheltered
• Low maintenance
• Hold up to 10-50 bikes subject to hub location
• Potential for the incorporation of technology - e.g., automatic locks, storage, maintenance
• Work with Aukaha to incorporate cultural narrative/features.

It is our intention to undertake an open tender process, subject to approval, via GETS during May with the aim of starting the contract by the end of July 2023. Registrations of interest are not required to participate in the tender.
