The Dunedin City Council is seeking to establish a shortlist of suitably experienced and resourced main contractors for the construction of two new stormwater (SW) pump stations in Mosgiel. These two new stormwater pump stations will replace existing pumping stations and upon completion, will provide increased SW pumping capacity for their respective catchments.
Construction of these pumping stations will be completed in two stages, namely:
Stage 1 is the Reid Avenue Pump Station, which includes a new outfall with connecting pipework, along with the construction of inground concrete tanks, installation and commissioning of new SW pumps and the supply and installation of an emergency generator, generator building, MSB and controls.
Stage 2 is the Carlyle Road Pump Station.
