The DCC’s existing water and wastewater SCADA software solution needs a significant upgrade before the DCC can fully capitalize on the functionality available and realise the business benefits.
The DCC is therefore seeking to identify relevant options for a SCADA software solution in order to formulate a coordinated strategy for all of its systems. The DCC recognises that critical to having a comprehensive SCADA solution is a resilient, secure and dedicated network solution and as such, the DCC is also seeking options for a new network framework and design.
The DCC is requesting that interested parties provide a high-level response and indicative pricing options. The DCC recognises that not all vendors will be able to deliver both the software and network components and, where applicable, vendors should include in their response what components they can deliver. The DCC encourages vendors to provide a co-ordinated response and work with other vendors interested in providing a unified solution.
Suppliers responding or intending to respond to this RFI are referred to as participants in this RFI.
