The Greater Christchurch PT Futures programme was developed in 2018 in response to forecast substantial growth in population and expected inflexion in growth – which is occurring now. As part of the PT Futures Foundation programme of core services uplift, we are seeking support in developing a pre implementation investment case for the TUAG frequency uplift of Route 1 Rangiora to Cashmere (including Route 1 Express), and Route 5 Rolleston to New Brighton (including Route 5 Express). This work represents a key milestone in the programme, bridging the gap between the PT Futures delivery stages.

We require an experienced supplier to support development of the economic case. We require a comprehensive investigation to help answer some fundamental questions and to support a robust funding application for the delivery of this service improvement from 2026/ 2027 through a SSBC lite.
