This procurement relates to the delivery of a field survey and weed strategy for the upper
Waimakariri Basin. This is the first provision of this service for the catchment. Similar
surveys and strategies or action plans have been provided in three other catchments by two
providers. This is a one-off procurement, although there may be a repeat of the survey in the
future (approximately 5-10 years) to measure progress in achieving the goals of the weed
control work.
