Overview

What we need:
The Environment Canterbury Tuam Street office participated in a study to research its office space utilisation. It was decided a co-design approach would be taken so staff have more input into the development of areas to collaborate, connect their knowledge, skills and resources as well as having focus areas to carry out their work.
This piece of work includes:
- having a dedicated team of furniture specialists
- products that help boost productivity
- options that can scale to every space and adapt to accommodate flexibility.
We want to develop a panel of suppliers so we can choose the most suitable furnishings for a particular area in the building as the project evolves.
We need sufficient information about your companies’ services to understand your capabilities.
What we don’t want:
Tuam Street has an adequate supply of standard single purpose furniture.
We do not require brochures or product information other than that required by the stated purpose in this document.
What’s important to us:
Conventional ways of working in an office are rapidly changing. We need to adapt and carefully reconfigure our office in a way that incorporates different flexible demands of workspaces and can easily accommodate our staff in the workplace whilst being visually appealing.

It is important that we can work with vendors who have strong communication skills, the flexibility to meet our changing needs, and can propose innovative alternative options which add value.
