The team needs to implement an asset management plan that reflects the team accountability to management through effective strategic asset management plans which feed into the organisation plan. The asset management strategic plan helps the organisation make long term decisions on our property based on investment, maintenance and disposal plans for each building. It also allows users to store and extract information about the lifecycle cost and building assessment in terms of health and wellbeing for the users. The system will need to provide some integration with other existing systems currently in use within Environment Canterbury – including Navision Financial Management, Customer Relations Management (CRM), Records Manager RM8 and GIS.
