Overview

Work is underway within Callaghan Innovation’s Tātai Whetū Programme to develop a new operating model to help realise our ambitious strategic objectives. Phase 1 of our project delivered a high-level operating model blueprint. Phase 2 of the project involves undertaking a detailed design of the blueprint elements and is due for completion by the end of April 2021. Phase 3 (the subject of this listing) will implement the future operating model alongside new ways of working.

Based on the unique capability we require, we intend to conduct an open and competitive tender process. We aim to identify a highly specialised provider to develop and implement new ways of working that support our new operating model and bring it to life.

The key objectives of this procurement will be to enter into an arrangement with a provider:
 … that has unique expertise to design and implement new ways of working, and;
… who can work closely alongside us to practically embed agile practices into our organisation.

At this stage in our planning, we anticipate this being a 12-month engagement starting April 2021 with opportunities for additional work being explored throughout the term. In line with this timeframe, we aim to release a tender in the coming weeks.

This listing is a Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO). A FPO has replaced the Annual Procurement Plan information previously available to suppliers on MBIE’s website. A FPO is an alert to suppliers of potential upcoming procurement activity. It does not represent a commitment to procure but provides an indication to the market about the potential future activity.

Potential respondents can subscribe to this FPO. We may use the list of subscribers to learn of potential providers. When the tender is released, this FPO will be linked to this listing. Those providers who have subscribed to the FPO will get automatically notified of the tender being released.

No information is required to be submitted in response to this FPO. Questions may be directed to the point of contact. Please note however, due to where we are in our planning there is limited further information available.
