The contract is for the permanent repair works and will consist of the following key construction elements for Project Named Whangaehu, split in to 3 sites.
Site 1: Whangaehu Road (RP 1.310)
1.Tree removal
2.Bench and fill earthworks including topsoiling and grassing
3.Geotextile
4.Subsoil drainage
5.Culvert replacement with riprap scour protection at outlet
6.Scruffy dome at culvert inlet
7.Pavement reinstatement
8.Sight rail
Site 2: Whangaehu Road (RP 2.251)
1.Riprap scour protection at the existing culvert inlet
2.Half pipe flume at existing culvert outlet
3.One-way traffic flow signage including: single lane priority, single lane give way, and road narrows
4.Sight rail
Site 3: Whangaehu Road (RP 2.355)
1.Cut and fill earthworks
2.Bench and fill earthworks including topsoiling and grassing
3.Geotextile
4.Subsoil drainage
5.Riprap scour protection at existing culvert inlet
6.Pavement reinstatement
The Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued only to contractors who have been shortlisted through the “Land Transport Recovery Phase 4 Physical Works Approach 2” registration of interest (ROI) prequalification process as advertised on GETS.
