Overview

EOI Central Hawkes Bay District Council Resilience and Strengthening Works Porangahau and Wimbledon Rds (old SH52)

The Central Hawkes Bay District Council (CHBDC) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced contractors to construct a series of timber and steel pile retaining walls and a number of area wide pavement treatments (AWPTs) to be sited at various locations along Porangahau and Wimbledon Rds (previously known as SH 52).

Tender Documents are expected to be released for these works by 8 April 2020. The tender period will be two weeks with an expected closing date of 23 April 2020.

The contract award date is programmed to occur on 29 April with site establishment expected on 11 May 2020.

Construction completion date is programmed for 30 June 2020.

The successful contactor(s) who performs to all delivery expectations for the first package of resilience works will be presented with the ideal chance to tender for further resilience works programmed for 2021 and 2022 with budgets expected to be in the region of approximately $15m total (to be confirmed).

Tender Documents will only be issued, without further notice, to successful respondents to this EOI process who have the appropriate NZTA Qualification Level for the scope of work.

The EOI process consists of submitting a one page letter outlining the contractor’s name, location, NZTA Qualification level(s) and a nominated point of contact and details during the tender process.

Only electronic submissions, made via GETs will be accepted.
