The Canterbury District Health Board (“CDHB”) is considering options for the provision of a Tracking and Reporting Management System for Infant Nutrition (“Opportunity”). The Opportunity includes, but is not limited to, the following:
a. An upgrade and replacement of the current systems that allow staff and parents to efficiently manage patient feeds and review activity for audit purposes. The solution is needed at the cot side and the milk room. We would prefer that the solution allow for staff to input more than one feed for the infant at a time to minimise time spent scanning when preparing feeds for that individual baby.
b. A computerised management human milk bank system that tracks donor screening, inventory within the milk bank, results of donor and milk samples, dispensing and tracking milk from donor to recipient.
