Update for Vocational Rehabilitation Services
In September ACC issued an Advance Notice signalling our intention to release an opportunity in early 2026 for organisations interested in delivering services under the Vocational Rehabilitation Services contract.
Dates have now been confirmed:
13 January 2026: Incumbent Suppliers will receive an email with their Request for Application documents.
20 January 2026: A Request for Applications will be posted onto GETS open to all new interested parties to apply.
The Service Schedule provided in the Advanced Notice has now been updated to reflect the requirements of the Vocational Rehabilitation Services from 1 May 2026.
This Advance Notice signals ACC’s intention to release an opportunity in early 2026 for organisations interested in delivering services under the Vocational Rehabilitation Services contract.
ACC’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services contract will be extended by two years, with the new expiry date set for 30 April 2028. The current contract remains in effect until 30 April 2026 and is being extended and enhanced to improve return to work outcomes for kiritaki (clients).
This Advance Notice will be updated with further information over the coming months.

ACC will be inviting qualified and experienced suppliers from across New Zealand to apply for the Vocational Rehabilitation Services Contract. Applicants may submit proposals for either individual components or for all components of the contract, as listed below:
• Stay at Work (SAW) and Stand-alone Worksite Assessment
• Back to Work (BTW) and Job Search
• Pathways to Employment (PTE)
