ACC is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suppliers capable of delivering a data dashboard platform for medical certification insights. The purpose of this platform is to support GPs and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with interactive, comparative data on how their certification practices align with ACC’s Recovery at Work guidelines.
The proposed platform must:
Ingest curated data from ACC and deliver a secure, ACC-branded dashboard.
Be accessible to 100% of GPs and NPs nationwide, with at least 80% reached via integration with Practice Management Systems (PMS) and the remainder via web access.
Enable users to view certification types, durations, and return-to-work patterns by injury, work type, and demographics, benchmarked regionally and nationally.
Offer dynamic messaging and links to Recovery at Work education materials.
Enforce strict identity verification, ensuring users can access only their own data.
Be updated at least quarterly with the latest data.
Additionally, summarised data should be available for Primary Health Organisations (PHOs) to identify variation within and across their networks.
We are particularly interested in suppliers that:
Have existing integration with PMS systems used in NZ general practice.
Can demonstrate technical and design expertise in building interactive dashboards.
Operate support services within Australasia.
Can work with ACC’s Security team to complete certification and accreditation.
Comply with data security, privacy, and health information standards.
Timeframes:
This ROI is the first step. An RFP is intended for release in July 2025, with the goal of launching the dashboard before the end of October 2025.
