Overview

ACC intends to release the tender for the Ride Forever motorcycle and scooter training programme in August.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please make sure you have subscribed to this notice and are registered as a supplier on GETS to receive any updates regarding the upcoming tender.

ACC has established the Ride Forever-branded national motorcycle and scooter training programme. The programme is a nationally consistent, high quality, injury prevention training programme, which is explicitly linked to the Competency Based Assessment (CBTA) Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s graduated motorcycle licensing regime.

ACC is expecting 30,000 riders to complete the training by 30 June 2023 and has current contracts in place to provide training for up to 10,000 riders per annum. These contracts seek ensure that the training programme is available in all regions across New Zealand and are due to expire on 31 October 2020.

ACC is now seeking suitably qualified and experienced motorcycle and scooter training providers to contribute towards the delivery of Ride Forever training to approximately 10,000 riders per annum until 2023.

If you have the necessary skills, experience and capability to provide Ride Forever training but holding a contract does not fit your business model, there are still opportunities which may enable you to deliver Ride Forever training such as sub-contracting to a contract holder.
