ACC is the Crown entity that manages and delivers New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Scheme (the Scheme). ACC contributes to the Government’s goal of improving New Zealand’s economic performance by reducing the incidence and severity of injury and providing an efficient and comprehensive, no-fault accident insurance scheme that supports injured people to return to work, independence or everyday life as quick and safely as possible. ACC holds an investment portfolio to meet the future costs of claims from injuries already incurred.

ACC’s investment performance has been strong with returns on funds invested beating market benchmarks in each of the last 18 years.

ACC is seeking registration of interest from a forward thinking custodian with a global business model that has the ability to support ACC locally and bring new ideas to enhance ACC’s investment operating model.
