Here at ACC we’re exploring the future of health purchasing for ACC.
We’ve been doing a lot of work on how we can move from our traditional siloed inputs-based purchasing toward a whole-of-system outcomes based approach. This would enable ACC to purchase integrated surgical and rehabilitation services across clinical pathways whilst simultaneously promoting evidence-based approaches to getting people well.
We’ve started designing a future state which will challenge the way we operate today.
To achieve our goals we will need to work creatively and collaboratively within ACC and with our clients and providers. This way of working builds on the success of an early proof of concept we started in 2017.
This is a first for ACC and we are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from interested groups of health care practitioners with the mind-set and capability to work with us and to change the way we deliver services to clients with certain musculoskeletal injuries.
