We’re working to improve our Nursing Services (community nursing contract) to provide a better experience for ACC clients, providers and ACC staff. As part of this process we plan to make a number of interim changes to the current contract, effective 1 March 2018, and will extend the contract for two years until 29 February 2020.
This contract has been closed to new suppliers since it came into effect five years ago, but we will accept applications from new suppliers for the updated service effective 1 March 2018. ACC plans to introduce a new Nursing Services contract in 2020 to replace the current service which will include going out to the market for tender in late 2019.
We are holding a series of workshops around New Zealand for interested community nursing suppliers, to help us improve the Nursing Services. The focus of the workshops will be to discuss our current thinking on changes to the Nursing Services contract and processes with the aim of improving the experience for our clients, providers and ACC staff.
