Under ACC’s current IT architecture and technology for non production environments, it is expected these costs will continue to rise at an unsustainable rate.
New and emerging data virtualisation technologies offer the opportunity for ACC to review its provisioning architecture and data reduction strategies for non production environments. ACC wishes to engage the market under a Competitive Dialogue process to confirm the suitability and performance of a new data virtualisation product/service.
ACC confirmed in it’s 2014/15 Annual Procurement Plan that it would go to market for a Data Virtualisation product/service.
ACC believes such a service would provide significant savings, and now wishes to go to market to select a supplier for a Data Virtualisation product or service.
