The Metro Sports Facility (MSF) is an anchor project identified in the 2012 Christchurch Central Recovery Plan (CCRP). The MSF will be Christchurch’s premier community sport and recreation facility, catering to people of all ages and abilities, including high performance athletes. Providing aquatic and indoor sport facilities, the MSF will cater for the day-to-day recreation and leisure needs of the community as well as local, national and international events.
The MSF Project will now be procured by Ōtākaro under a traditional, construct-only procurement model. Ōtākaro is undertaking this ‘Market Engagement’ phase for those main contractor companies (from both New Zealand and overseas) that may be interested in tendering for the Main Works contract. The attached document describes the purpose of this Market Engagement phase, and includes documentation for parties to complete, sign and return to Ōtākaro if they wish to participate in this Market Engagement phase.
