We are seeking supplier/s who can provide community adaptation planning services and advice to Council. We are looking for suppliers who will work closely with Council and share responsibilities to plan, scope, provide technical reports and assessments informed by Te Ao Māori cultural expertise and local knowledge.
The successful supplier/s will collaborate with the Climate Action and Resilience Department to form a project team and deliver adopted Community Adaptation Plan/s by late 2027.
The broad scope of services includes:
• Stage One Community Adaptation Planning Scoping Report
• All technical assessments and reports through to adoption of Stage One Community Adaptation Plan/s
• Facilitation design and delivery for community panel/s, tangata whenua / hapū, and technical advisory groups
• Project strategy and management support and reporting support to steering groups and governance bodies
• Technical and strategic advice on engagement activities and communication and engagement materials
