Overview

The Seaview Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a currently undergoing a programme of upgrades to improve performance, regulatory compliance risk and to better align with community expectations. Part of this programme includes the upgrade of the existing blower units, diffuser and pipework, which is currently at risk of failure due to its age and insufficient capacity for future peak process load.

Wellington Water wishes to appoint a Supplier to:
• Installation of the four new blowers (free issModification of the associated air discharge pipework (including any associated seismic and gravity support elements) at the WWTP to accommodate the new blowers.
• Installation of a new control panel for the electrical and control instrumentation associated to the new blowers.
• PLC programming and integrate the new blowers into the existing control system.
• Modification of the existing blower building elements to suit the new blowers room layout.
• Replacement of the existing diffuser grids for each of the four CST trains at the WWTP.
• Install the new structural steel maintenance platforms and handrail system around the new DO controls for the CST area at the WWTP.
• Provisional sum of the grating system for the New Maintenance Platforms.ued by the principal) and replace the three existing blowers in the blower building at the WWTP.
