The Seaview Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a currently undergoing a programme of upgrades to improve performance, regulatory compliance risk and to better align with community expectations. Part of this programme includes the renewal of the WWTP’s aeration system, which is currently at risk of failure due to its age and condition.

The Aeration System Renewals Programme will be completed in four broad stages, as outlined in Figure 1 below. This RFP is for Stage 0 & 1 only.

Stage 0 – Installation of additional DO and TSS probes

Stage 1 – Renewals of aeration control valves and associated pipe supports
