New sewer main located along the Gibbons Street road corridor, Upper Hutt.
The sewer main runs along Gibbons Street, from the intersection of Mcparland Street to the intersection of McLeod Street. It is required to increase system capacity to accommodate a number of planned developments.
The work is planned for construction in the 2018/19 financial year.
• Approximately 530m of SN16 DN475 uPVC sewer main via open trenching in the Gibbons Street road corridor, Riverbank / McLeod St junction, and the Riverbank Reserve,
• Approximately 65m of SN16 DN150 uPVC sewer main via open trenching to replace DN225 sewer that clashes with the new trunk main,
• Installation of nine new manholes on the new trunk sewer and one new manhole on the relocated DN150 sewer.
