More than 70% of work-related fatalities in New Zealand involve vehicles. There is a need for research into effective intervention to improve the health and safety of workers working in and around vehicles. In particular, there is a need to better understand how vehicle-related risks that eminate from business models and supply chain pressures can be managed effectively. We are seeking a solution that provides WorkSafe with a clear, evidentially-based, investigation of approaches to minimise the vehicle-related risks that eminate from business models, contracts and contracting, and supply chain pressures.
